Water Awareness Week 2007
When: November 19th to 22nd
Where: University of Guelph
Why: To raise awareness about a variety of issues associated with water. Panel discussions, speakers, documentary screenings and workshops will be drawing attention to such issues as privatization and commodification of water, global water scarcity issues, and water conservation. Students will be sharing their plans and ideas for making all events at the university bottled water free.
