Get On TV with WWF

Tuesday 3rd May 2005, 9:42am | Filed under:

This looks really cool. If you have time in August, WWF is looking for activists around the world to be on a TV show showing global environmental action. They have conservation projects that they want people to participate in, while being filmed. I’ve included the link to the website where you can apply. Deadline is May 16th! Give it a try!

WATER TREATMENT PLANT TOUR

Wednesday 23rd March 2005, 3:27pm | Filed under:

Friends,

I have been unable to book a tour of the Wet-Dry facility as they have far too much truck traffic at the moment for it to be safe for tours.

My second option was to book a tour of City of Guelph’s WATER TREATMENT PLANT. It will go ahead and the details are as follows.

I have tentatively booked GSEC a tour time at the City of Guelph’s Waste water treatment plant for

Wednesday, APRIL 6th for 10:30AM.

I will need to know by MARCH 30th how many people will commit to attending this free tour. Please email me if you plan on attending. To do so email me at jamesvalcke@hotmail.com with “TOUR” in the subject line.

I would also like to have voluntary drivers available for that time. If you plan on attending and have access to a vehicle that you would be willing to carpool people in please email me at jamesvalcke@hotmail.com with “TOUR DRIVER” in the subject line. As well please give details in the email about how many people your vehicle can hold.

I hope all of you can attend. I have totally guessed at the number of people that will attend by saying that we will have around 10-15 people interested in attending. So if you want to attend you had better reserve with me asap. At least get back to me by MARCH 30.

Also, if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at jamesvalcke@hotmail.com

Thanks.
James
